We were at Kang'oma village on Saturday with our Teen Group teaching them how to perform drama. We meet with them in a small dark and dusty hut. I needed a moment by myself, so I decided to go to the car for some time to myself. Just to let you know, it is something that I rarely get here. It is nice most of the time, but for someone who really values her alone time, this can get tough. I have completely lost my independence here. Someone is always driving me, with me, or talking to me when I am alone.
So I went to the car, the door was open, and next thing you know, 25 kids are squeezing themselves in the door to talk. You cannot get a clear view of how many kids there are, but I am sure you can hear them. I had the best time making videos of this.
As you watch this, keep in mind that these kids do not speak any english.

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny (and wonderful). So much joy there. I can see that the kids really love you! If I was in your place I'd have them say "Let's go Rangers!" But alas, the Rangers are not in the playoffs having been beaten out by your Philadelphia Flyers (in a last game of the season shootout no less). By the way, the Flyers are leading the Devils 1 game to none in the 1st round of the playoffs.
So proud of what you are doing in Malawi. Love the Blog and really miss you! Stay well.
